Vision Premier Total Engine Analyzer Solution   Let’s face it; today’s vehicle systems are more complex than just a few short years ago. Driven by emissions regulations, you’re faced with the challenge of getting your customer’s vehicle to comply with stricter and stricter emission regulations. Can you do it with just one tool? Two? The reality is that you need an affordable, and powerful diagnostic tool that incorporates all the required tools into an economical package that adds to your bottom line.   Used with your shop’s PC, the Vision Premier lets you quickly diagnose your customer’s vehicles. You get a “real-time” oscilloscope with amazing accuracy that captures faults at high engine speeds. A 4-channel lab scope with the speed and accuracy to test powertrain components and much more is standard with the Vision Premier. Plus, it provides battery volts, amps, primary and secondary ignition, sync, vacuum, and timing light capabilities. Best of all, the Vision Premier presents the information in specially designed screens with large digital readouts or bar graphs for more definition, allowing for easier diagnosis.   The Vision Premier is designed for use with OTC’s MicroGas and 4- and 5-Gas Modules for Bar 97 accuracy. Future enhancements will include a diagnostic scan tool option for the Genisys and Enhanced Monitor so you can perform OBD diagnostics. HEI adapters allow you to test the ignition systems of most vehicles from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.   The Test The Vision Premier tests DIS systems as well as conventional ignition systems. Diagnostic times are quicker. You can view several data items on a single screen eliminating the need to switch back and forth between displays. Primary data may be viewed together with cylinder time variations, dwell/cylinder, module volts, primary current, and RPM.   Diagnostic Limits You can set diagnostic limits such as min/max charge voltage, burn time, burn kV, etc. or the technician may set his/her own limits. When a predefined limit is reached, the bar graph will turn red providing instant notification of an out-of-range condition.   Secondary Data Secondary data screens allow simultaneous viewing of kV, firing time, firing line kV and RPM. Dwell, timing, RPM and vacuum are displayed on a single screen using the optional S44-555 timing light.   Customized Reports A diagnostic check list is included that provides a systematic checklist with comments and recommended service fields. Customized reports can be generated and printed out based on the results of the checklist. In addition, patterns displaying defects may be saved and printed as customer reports.     Why Stop There!   It’s not always a question of battery performance, so why stop there when testing? The Vision Premier features comprehensive starting and charging system tests. You can easily check the battery, starter, voltage regulator, alternator and diodes.   With a simple click you can get volt and amp graphs, disable the ignition, perform procedural tests and display live diode waveforms. All digital displays can be converted to a bar graph.   You can include cut-points on all bar graphs by just clicking the mouse, and dragging it to the new value. Now, the graph will turn red each time it exceeds your cut-point setting. This allows you to easily view changes in vehicle performance.   An extensive “no start” screen is included to diagnose vehicles that won’t start. Critical data such as cranking kV, RPM, vacuum, AVG firing time, battery volts, search volts, HC and amps can be organized into digital or bar graph displays.   Perform a charging or starting test. Or, if you prefer, view an extensive collection of information in Starter Data, Charging Data or Starter/Charging graphs.   Interface The Vision Premier is completely compatible with OTC’s MicroGas and the new MicroGas Module. You get BAR 97 accuracy.   You’ll get multiple display modes allowing graphing of gases that have been recorded in memory. Vision Premier software is compatible with many older 4 and 5-Gas modules. (Call for details).   Auto Ranging DVOM A full-function DVOM is included in the Vision Premier with an auto ranging DVOM displaying volts, amps, ohms, or frequency in hertz min/max with reset.   For studying trends in the vehicle’s performance, a four-channel chart recorder enables you to chart up to four data items at once.   Custom Screens For maximum flexibility, you can customize up to seven different screens using up to four measurements.   PC Ordering Information We’ve done the homework for you!!
