Scan tools. The CP9175 has more features
and benefits than other code readers on the
market and is a major step-up from our very
popular CP9135 tool. The CP9175 is trilingual
(displays in English, Spanish or French) and
easily links to your 1996 and later OBDII
compliant vechicle, American and import cars
and trucks. Large easy-to-read LCD screen
allows you to view the Diagnostic Trouble
Codes (DTCs) and their descriptions as
generated by your vehicles onboard
computers, leading you to the trouble area. It
displays freeze frame data ( snapshot of the
operating conditions at time of fault),erases
the DTC and turns off the Check Engine Light!
I/M readiness test allows you to determine if your vehicle is ready for an emissions test.
This is an excellent function to use prior to having your vehicle inspected for compliance
to state emissions programs. All emission testing facilities will fail a vehicle which has
the check engine light lit at the time of the test. It will also alert you to any pending DTC
codes and reads the Malfuction Indicator Lamp status. The menu driven interface
combined with "hot keys"allows for quick and easy use. Includes CD software that
contains an additional 3,000 DTCs and their descriptions. The tool is internet
updateable, accomodating future vehicles with the addition of the Actron CP9137 cable
(sold separately).
